Bare Bones issue 9

Can you believe it... 9 issues in and it is still as grimy as the first one. That's what we like and that's what you get you sod! Tonight the madness happens once more and in the same claustrophobic space we all love and know.

See you there.

Say It, I'm Not Angry Anymore - ANGER

I guess it is something which I might have foreseen... Maybe, not really sure as the only thing I can think about happened after I shot this piece last summer. While still going trough the vigorous post production and sound design stages I'm feeling pretty nervous about my first attempt to exhibit a video and sound installation. Ireland seems to be the perfect place as the Photo Ireland Festival is taking off and growing bigger each year. Thanks to Block T Gallery this is all coming together.

Shot the day before I flew to North West America on a separate month long protect, we worked hard for all the shots. Filmed at 2000 fps I wanted to capture the emotion so quick and short while relaying it as a still prolonged moment of this dramatic act. The blurb is here http://2011.photoireland.org/program/anger/ and regardless of concepts the crew and production who worked on it were mighty, thank you.

Art Mosh

The good people at Art Mosh have kindly asked me to be a part of their European exhibition. Lovely chaps, they have decided to show 6 of my pictures that I took on a mental day with Bad Brains last year. Punk rock and Art, almost like salt and vinegar, a timeless flavor. Go to it on the 25th! Please.

At Peace At Home

Finding a piece of art that sums up the way you feel there and then has to be purchased. Buying art hasn't ever been my forte but when something speaks to you and confirms the way you feel it has to be done. Heretic are a pretty impressive bunch of good, good timers and make incredible screen prints, buy from them, learn from them, drink with them.
