Ginger People and Hippies Can Skate!

Use you head.

Flan O'Brien - -The Third Police Man

Flann on riding bicycles too much.

"'The gross and net result of it is that people who spent most of their natural lives riding iron bicycles over the rocky roadsteads of this parish get their personalities mixed up with the personalities of their bicycle as a result of the interchanging of the atoms of each of them and you would be surprised at the number of people in these parts who are nearly half people and half bicycles...when a man lets things go so far that he is more than half a bicycle, you will not see him so much because he spends a lot of his time leaning with one elbow on walls or standing propped by one foot at kerbstones.'"

BB

Bare Bones issue 3 is now calling for submissions.

It's time again for submissions for the next BB.
The deadline, should you wish to contribute is Monday 22nd March.
Again we're asking for £25 for a single page, £50 for a double.

As per the last two, there is no theme for the paper but the show will be loosely based around,
"Last Night's Taxi Driver, Tomorrow's Lover.."
To open, 1st April 2010 NEU Gallery, Redchurch Street.

We are thinking of making a load of imagined or real portraits individual/collaborative to hang on the walls
Some live portraits, Leicester Square style, on the opening night and during the following open days.
These will be a very loose interpretation of the word portrait.

Following the success of the last show, hopefully we can again make some beer money by selling a load more work.

Anyone still wishing to get money from the last show for sales should contact me as soon as possible,
otherwise we will stick it all into the BB pot and try go colour for No.3.
